BLITZ MTG Format

Quick Guide of BLITZ Game Format

• 2 to 6 players
• A Deck has 45 cards that is based on “The 3:15 Rule".
• “The 3:15 Rule" = 15 Basic Lands, 15 Creatures, and 15 Spells.
• Creatures can not cost more than 4 mana. It can also have a cost with X in it as well.
• Spells can not cost more than 4 mana. It can have a cost with X in it as well.
• Can only have 2 copies of the same name card for Creatures and Spells.
• Can play both copies of the Legendary card at the same time.
• Always start the game with 4 Basic Land for mana.
• Always draw two cards on draw step.
• Play all lands from hand.
• A Max of 8 Basic Lands for mana on the battlefield.
• Players can play a BLITZ ability called "Land Bomb" to destroy land on the battlefield to trigger "Blitz-Up" ability.
• Players can Counter, "Land Bombs".
• Players can play multiple "Land Bombs" in a turn.
• "Land Bomb" can be played anytime you can play an Instant or Sorcery for a free cost.
• Players can trigger multiple "Blitz-Up" abilities in a turn.
• #3 and #4 "Blitz-Up" abilities are stackable.
• Creatures' health doesn't regenerate until it is the Creature's controllers turn again.
• Players Draw Deck has two stages. Stage 1 at the start till they run out of cards. Then they go into Stage 2 Draw Deck.
• Going into Stage 2 Draw Deck will take all the cards in that player's Graveyard and Exile zone, then reshuffled back into a deck to make Stage 2.
• There is a Max of 10 turns in BLITZ. Win before turn 10 or at the end of turn 10, player with the highest health wins.
